Local LPN/ Quick Offer/ $37/HR MTK Technologies 1350 14th Avenue SE, Decatur, AL 35601 Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care and support in various medical settings, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, and long-term care centers. Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team Assist with patient assessments and care planning Perform specimen collection processing and assist with diagnostic procedures Provide wound care and dressing changes Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Utilize medical equipment such as ventilators, DME, and assist with spinal taps when necessary Skills Proficient in hospital medicine practices, including ICU experience Ability to lift and transfer patients safely Familiarity with working in a Level II Trauma Center is a plus Experience in specimen collection processing and handling Knowledge of caring for patients in assisted living and long-term care settings
