The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be skilled in various nursing practices. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients with diverse medical needs, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, and other health conditions. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients. Conduct laboratory tests and assist with medical imaging procedures when necessary. Provide care for patients with specific needs, including toddler care, ICU, PICU, and dialysis support. Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness practices. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of physiology and nursing principles. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus. Ability to perform laboratory tasks and assist with medical imaging as needed. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
