The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, nursing homes, and pediatric environments. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, assisting in the delivery of patient care and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs. Assist with procedures such as phlebotomy, spinal taps, and cardiac catheterization when necessary. Provide care to patients in medical-surgical settings, ensuring adherence to established protocols. Utilize electronic health records systems like eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient information. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and health education. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to infection control protocols. Skills Proficient in medical terminology and nursing practices relevant to various healthcare settings.
