Requirements:
Alabama LPN License and BLS 1 year experience preferred Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including primary care and acute care environments. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients and their families through effective nursing practices and medical assistance. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team. Provide direct patient care, including infant care when necessary. Assist with medical documentation and maintain accurate medical records. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety. Support patients with acute pain management strategies. Assist in sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies. Requirements Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practices. Experience with medical documentation systems is preferred. Familiarity with dialysis procedures is a plus. Strong understanding of sterile processing techniques. Ability to manage acute pain effectively in patients. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Previous experience in primary care settings is advantageous.
