16 Weeks (05/12/25•08/27/25) We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 16-week contract position at a leading employer-based health center in Vance, Alabama. This role is ideal for nurses with a passion for occupational health and wellness in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Position Highlights:
3-day work week (Monday through Wednesday) Day shift: 5:30 AM•6:30 PM (30-minute meal break) Supportive, team-based environment No weekend or holiday shifts Excellent opportunity for nurses seeking weekday-only contract roles
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in accordance with scope of practice Assist in health screenings, routine exams, and follow-ups Support the clinical team with documentation, vital signs, and care coordination Maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems Promote a safe and efficient work environment with a focus on preventive care
Qualifications:
Active LVN/LPN license in the state of Alabama BLS certification with AHA(required) Prior experience in occupational health, ambulatory care, or primary care (preferred) Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a clinical setting
