The Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) plays a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centeredcare in a busy outpatient oncology and infusion center setting.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), Advanced PracticeRegistered Nurse (APRN), or provider, the LPN performs clinical andadministrative tasks within the scope of supportive and restorativecare. This includes health education, medication administration,specimen collection, and assisting with procedures. The LPNcontributes to all phases of the nursing process and ensures safe,efficient care delivery.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
  • Current LPN license in the State of Connecticut.
Experience:
  • Competency in phlebotomy, bladder scanning, EKGs, and emergencyresponse.
  • Oncology or outpatient care experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred).
