Scope of responsibility is characterized by use of nursing processto assess, plan, intervene and evaluate human responses to actualor potential health problems utilizing appropriate practices,standards, protocols and guidelines. This position reports to aPractice Manager.

  • Provides office-based nursing care incollaboration with provider
  • Assesses physical and psychosocialneeds and environmental factors affecting patients and theirfamilies, formulates nursing plan of care and ensures continuity ofpatient care through appropriate nursing evaluation andintervention
  • Demonstrates independent nursing actions based onassessment and problem identification
  • Triages telephone calls anddisplays ability to initiate appropriate nursing intervention inprompt, precise, and professional manner
  • Assists patients andfamily members or other clients with concern and empathy; respectsconfidentiality and privacy Qualifications
  • Current Connecticut RN/LPN License required.
  • Previous experience in Medical/SurgicalOffice setting preferred.
  • Experience with medical software Wetake great care of careers.
