OBJECTIVE

Be able to demonstrate the ability to assess the full scope of patient needs, using the nursing process on a continuous basis while demonstrating accountability for nursing practice through planned & continuous professional growth and development.

Duties:

Wound care. Sterile setups and procedures. Patient education. Performs independent nurse functions based on practice policies and standards. Work collaboratively with other clinical team members and physicians. Patient communication and telephone calls.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and able to handle stress. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 3 years of LPN work experience in a medical office setting. (preferably a plastic surgeon’s office). Prior surgical experience is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS

Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Current CT LPN State license. Current BLS Certification. Must be able to identify and respond to emergencies and support approximately 50 – 100 pounds. Proficient with the use of Electronic Health Records. Travel may be required to all satellite locations.

Schedule:

Full Time-Monday through Friday. The candidate must be able to work a flexible work schedule. Salary based on experience.

Bonus offered:

$2,000 after 6 months of employment; $2,000 after one year of employment.
