- Assists the RN/Physician in the admission process bygathering baseline data of clients current health status.
- Transcribes verbal or telephone orders received from the physicianand verifies such by readback.
- Transcribes physician orders to themedication administration record (MAR).
- Performs fingerstick forglucose evaluation.
- Administers medications as ordered by aphysician.
- Intervenes as necessary to prevent injury to staff orother clients.
- Provides for interactions with family, to theextent possible, under HIPAA regulations.
- Provides accuratedocumentation of client interactions and interventions.
Who are welooking for?
- Clear/Active license to practice as an LPN in theState of Florida.
- Experience in an inpatient psychiatric unitpreferred.
- Must be able to type at least 27 wpm on prescreenassessment and score at least 65% on general assessment.
DriversRequirement:
Must have a current Florida Driver’s License with aclean driving record while meeting company insurancerequirements.
In order to qualify as a Center Driver, vehicle Recordwill be reviewed for eligibility. No more than 3 moving violationsand/or accidents within the past 3 years and no major violationsduring the past 5 years.
