Job Summary andQualifications The Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed VocationalNurse (LVN/LPN) delivers high quality, patient-centered care byperforming a variety of delegated basic patient care services. Incollaboration with the RN and other members of the care team, theLPN/LVN provides individualized, comprehensive care consistent withthe scope and standards of the specialty. What you will do in thisrole:

• Provide direct, evidence-based care to patients as directedby the physician or RN.
• Assist with procedures, monitoring, orother functions as directed.
• Perform lab and procedural testswithin the LVN/LPN scope of practice, after demonstratingcompetency.
• Document the administration of care in the patientmedical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Serve as aresource to department staff, students and volunteers to helpdeliver quality patient care.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days ofemployment start date
