You’ll be responsible for: Perform medical, psychiatric and/or substance abuse screenings as appropriate to the area of assignment Safely administer medications as prescribed by a physician or other health care provider Monitor medication compliance and response of patient behavior, document observations and treatments appropriately in the patient’s medical records. Renders practical nursing and health support services to program patients; provides personal care assistance to service patients as needed Evaluates patients in order to recommend to a clinical superior (Desk nurse), a Registered Nurse or physician/mid-level practitioner, of any concerns that may warrant further medical and/or psychiatric intervention or referral to other health care facilities Prepares nursing treatment plans and participates in discharge/aftercare planning with nursing/clinical staff Follows agency procedures for control, storage and administration of medications and for ordering of medical supplies; orders medications and transcribes physician/mid-level practitioner’s orders

Qualifications :

Previous experience in Detox/Substance Abuse Possess a Florida License (LPN) Possess BLS or CPR Caring demeanor

Schedules:

3:00 pm-11:30 pm or 11:00 pm-7:30 am
