Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Resident ServicesDepartment associates, including C.N.A.’s (Resident ServicesAssistants). Assist in supervising the medication program andassist the residents with self-administration of medication.

Maintain positive relations with residents, families andphysicians. Report any significant incidents and/or changes in theresidents needs to the Executive Director/Resident ServicesDirector. Support the completion of resident assessments andservice plans. Assist with clinical assessments/recertification’sper ALSA requirements. Support Resident Services Director in hiringfor and managing performance within the department. Assist in thetraining and participate in orientation of new associates. Attendand participate in scheduled in-service programs, training programsand associate meetings. Assist with scheduling and staffing ofResident Services Assistants as needed. Providing coaching andmentoring to Resident Services Department associates as needed.

Support residents and families as needed to ensure high level ofcustomer satisfaction. Assist with supervision of RSA staff duringprovision of care. May perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:

Licensed PracticalNurse currently licensed to practice in the appropriate state(s).Basic first aid and CPR certification. Two years full time or fulltime equivalent clinical experience. Experience in assisted livingor long term care setting preferred. Experience and/or specialinterest working with seniors. Why You’ll Love working for
