LPN / group facilitator 3-11pm – Addiction Treatment Valiant Recovery 610 East Olympia Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL 33950
Nurse:
Full Time, with group facilitation and client supervision duties (note: we have part time available is applicant is preferring PT. ) Valiant Recovery is an inpatient addiction treatment center focusing on mental health and root issues. Working with a low client census of 7-16 clients, we are able to provide ore individualized quality care. Located in Punta Gorda Florida. Looking for a LPN who is willing to do more then just medical. This is a full time position 3-11pm, 5 days a week, with occasional weekends. LPN will be responsible to supervise clients, lead 1-2 groups per shifts, medication and other nursing duties.
Duties include:
On-site medical observation, monitoring, medication administering Facilitates 1-2 groups per shift (session material provided for staff) Provides patient / staff support.
Coordinates / Communicates
with lead nurse and APRN to ensure all protocols and medical needs are met. Provides daily shift notes, documentation, evaluations and reports to EMR Follows all facility, State, and Federal policies and procedures including but not limited to client confidentiality, rights, and anonymity. Light meal prep, serving meals to patients. Other light work to keep busy when not caring for clients Qualifications and Experience preferred: Licensed practical nurse or registered nurse Addiction and or Mental health educational or personal experience is an asset. Applicants MUST be willing to abstain from ALL legal and illegal addictive substances while in employment, including alcohol, and marijuana. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must be able to work competently, both as a team and independently Flexibility to work in a field in which there are competing and changing priorities. We are a drug-free workplace conducting random drug testing, including alcohol testing. A clean test is required prior to hire. We require all employees to be free from all addictive substances while in employment, on and off shift. This includes the use of alcohol, benzos, cannabis and Tobacco.
