Certified Medical Assistant/LPN For OB/GYN (Fluent English and Spanish Required) Women’s Healthcare Physicians of Naples 775 1st Avenue North, Naples, FL 34102 We are seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant or LPN to join our growing OB/GYN practice. Looking for a bright, friendly individual to provide excellent care for our patients. We are a busy, fast-paced OB/GYN office. Candidate must be well organized and able to multi-task. As a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN you will be assisting clinicians with patient care, rooming patients, collecting vitals and medical histories, perform phlebotomy, injections and other specimen collections, entering data in the electronic health records, and any other tasks required to give the best patient care. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare patients for examination and assist physicians and mid-levels during treatment/procedures. Record patient’s medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaint. Measure and record vital signs. Perform phlebotomy, injections and other specimen collection per established policies and procedures as directed by the provider. Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Oversee and ensure efficient turnover of exam rooms. Prepare, restock, and sterilize examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area and all other areas per established policies and procedures. Educate patients by providing information and instructions as directed by the provider, answering questions. Triage and process messages from patients and provide feedback to patient/physician/pharmacy calls. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures as directed by the provider. Sterilize medical instruments per established standards and procedures. Schedule patients for surgical procedures. Represent office in a professional manner. Treat all patients in a courteous and cooperative manner. Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program CMA Certification The LPN must have a clear, active, and unrestricted FL license. Current BLS Certification Minimum 1 year of direct patient contact OB/GYN experience is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate and explain required information to patients Excellent computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems Bilingual in English and Spanish required
