PRN RN/LPN
Naples Health and Rehabilitation 2900 12th Street North, Naples, FL 34103 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and/or Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, ensuring that patients receive the necessary medical attention and support. The RN/LPN will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care while adhering to established protocols and standards. Duties Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in medical-surgical procedures, including gastric lavage and spinal taps, under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities. Support pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort or distress. Participate in emergency medicine situations as required, demonstrating quick thinking and effective response skills. Assist in ophthalmology procedures when necessary, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. Conduct laboratory tests as directed and report findings to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Experience Candidates should possess a valid LPN license and have experience in a clinical setting. Familiarity with patient care techniques, medical-surgical practices, and emergency medicine is highly desirable. Experience with gastric lavage, spinal taps, pain management, ophthalmology procedures, laboratory testing, and maintaining medical records will be considered an asset. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing compassionate care are essential for success in this role.
Pay:
$29.43 – $35.45 per hour
