Clinic Medical Director Responsibilities:

Essential Functions Organizes and performs all administrative support services for the assigned directors including but not limited to, reserving and scheduling meetings, invoice processing, answering the phone, responding to email inquiries, coordinating and ordering food, preparing meetings areas for reception. Provides government entity checks for vendors, as needed and maintains Credit applications for vendors as needed. Increases reimbursement to payors which makes up a much more favorable network especially to Medicare . ensures justification for higher acuity coding for encounters possibly higher direct reimburse for document higher complicate population Researches patient requests for medical advice or prescription refills and data and orders within the scope of the pre-approved practice protocols Schedules and coordinates the monthly Finance Committee meetings and Audit committee meetings. Prepares the minutes of corporate committees such as Finance (monthly), Audit (annual and as needed), etc. Prepares the monthly finance committee package and presentation increases reimbursement to payors which makes up a favorable network also including Medicare; ensures justification for higher acuity coding for encounters; possibly higher direct reimburse for document higher complicate population Coordinates the yearly Audit Meeting, distributes meeting materials, attends the meeting and creates minutes for dissemination Collects and assess patient data to determine patient needs and to promote optimal Care. Calls and sends EMR messages to patients regarding coordination of care, health maintenance and appointments after review of clinic provider. Reviews and pends medications, labs, referrals for patients based on Department or practice guidelines Reviews and prioritizes all EPIC in basket tasks and addresses as appropriate Assists with follow up for established patients where continuity of care is required along with timely and appropriate referrals to specialties and ancillary services for patients in need of further medical care and services to be reviewed and signed off by clinic provider Coordinates education and guidance for patients to maximize the achievement of expected outcomes after review by clinic provider. Qualifications:
