Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and support within our medical facility.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor and record patient vital signs
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning
• Provide wound care and dressing changes
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Assist in emergency procedures in areas such as Operating Rooms (OR) and Emergency Rooms (ER)
• Manage acute pain for patients
• Support patients in assisted living, memory care, and discharge planning
• Perform airway management procedures
• Utilize proper lifting techniques to assist patients as needed

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid LPN license in the state of practice
• Proficiency in vital signs monitoring and pain management techniques
• Experience in acute pain management and various healthcare settings such as OR, ER, assisted living, and memory care
• Knowledge of airway management procedures
• Ability to effectively plan patient discharges and provide post-discharge support
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
