The
LPN / RN
will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting in various medical procedures, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient advocacy, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures and monitor patients post-procedure. Conduct physical examinations and document medical records accurately. Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients. Provide care for geriatric patients, focusing on their specific needs in senior care settings. Perform suturing under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians when required. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in urgent care situations to deliver timely interventions. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols. Educate patients and their families about health management and wellness strategies. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practices. Proficiency in managing medical records with attention to detail. Experience in working within a Level II trauma center is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork. Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of care. Compassionate approach towards elderly patients, understanding their unique challenges.
