The ideal candidate will provide essential nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established protocols and standards. As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in patient assessment, treatment, and education, working closely with registered nurses and physicians to deliver high-quality care. Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Perform catheter care and assist with other personal hygiene needs of patients. Conduct triage assessments to determine the urgency of patient needs. Monitor vital signs and document changes in patient conditions. Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring their specific needs are met. Assist in the management of infectious disease care protocols. Support patients undergoing dialysis, ensuring proper procedures are followed. Utilize sonography equipment when necessary for diagnostic purposes. Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Requirements Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices, including catheter care and triage. Experience or training in pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with infectious disease protocols is a plus. Ability to perform vital sign assessments accurately and efficiently. Proficiency in using sonography equipment is desirable but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient care procedures.
