Videos Duties Demonstres an understanding in delivering holistic care through collaborive stregies with others in a team environment for pients within the assigned service. Has knowledge of program regulions and is able to carry out objectives of the Nursing program. Follows, guidelines to meet and maintain program requirements. Provides direct nursing care to pients in a variety of healthcare settings. Based on assigned area, performs nursing care to meet pient needs. Learns approprie policy and guidelines. Administers nursing care to pients, such as bhs or showers, enemas, trements, and minor dressing charges, as assigned. Prepares pient for diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures. Participes in the interdisciplinary trement team meeting process. Identifies, reports, and documents medicion errors/discrepancies, reactions, and side effects immediely, according to policy and procedure. Takes and accurely records vital signs, height and weight and records in Electronic Health Records. Prepares and administers prescribed medicions (oral, topical, subcutaneous, Intramuscular) and performs trements according to established policies/procedures. Collabores with PACT (Pient Aligned Care Team) to ensure veterans are screened for appointments, offered available immunizions, and monitors vital signs, and conditions in the outpient clinical setting.
