The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care, particularly in settings that focus on geriatrics, hospice care, and home community care. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting residents’ health and well-being while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Duties Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to scope of licensure and safety protocol Assist with basic life support measures and emergency interventions when necessary. Conduct routine assessments of patients, including monitoring vital signs and reporting changes in condition and other duties, as indicated. Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health management and resources available. Requirements Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Florida, preferably with a minimum of one year experience. Experience or training in geriatrics or long-term care preferred. CPR certification required Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members. Compassionate demeanor with a strong focus on resident-centered care.
