ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Comply with all applicable rules,policies, standards, and guidelines related to employment withWestminster Services and its communities.
Assist in planningresident care by following physician orders.
Implement resident carebased on physician orders.
Evaluate care and communicate withdoctors for updates of orders.
Administer medication, IVs, giveshots, update patient records, provide emotional support, patienteducation, basic diagnostics, and other patient procedures forresidents.
Receive and transcribe orders from attendingphysicians.
Monitor blood glucose, temperature, and blood pressurewhen necessary.
Respond to all emergencies.
Schedule doctorsappointments and coordinate transportation for the residents.
Includes scheduling labs and transcribing lab results.
SuperviseCNA’s and LPNs as Charge Nurse ensure they are providing residentcare based on physician orders and defined care plans.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Mustbe currently licensed in the State of Florida as a RegisteredNurse. Must be CPR Certified. One year of long term care desirable.
Med-Surg, Home Health experience helpful. Experience working withthe elderly, physically or developmentally disabled adultspreferred. Will train on-the- job in lieu of aboveexperience.
