Responsibilities:
As an LPN Licensed Practical
- Nurse
- you will perform a wide rangeof duties during your shift, including providing compassionate careand educating patients about their medical and psychiatricconditions. Building trust and rapport with patients and theirfamilies is crucial in this role. Working effectively with thefacility leadership team, your core job duties will include:
- Resolve pending issues from theprevious shift, e.
g., missed or incomplete labs or treatments,incomplete admissions or discharges, missing data for continuity ofcare.
Compliance Audit Related to Infection Control, e.g.,glucometer, refrigerator, sharps containers, laboratorycleanliness, pests in facility, hand washing and flucampaignMedication storage, medication returns, medicationdestruction, calling pharmacy to resolve medication issuesOrdersupplies, inventory management, maintain/organize supplyroomMonitor and track lab orders, monitor and track outsideconsults, track medical transfersCoordinate and plan the admissionworkflow, print Integra and Care 360 requisitions, assure collectedsamples are properly labeledLevel of Care transfers inAVATARAdministrative functions, e.g., scanning documents intoAVATAR, assisting with the work schedule, assisting BHT’s with thecreation/modification of observation sheetsAdmission and dischargeaudits. Check/audit the proper completion of any nursing procedure(at discretion of DON) to assure compliance.
Schedule:
12-hourshifts
- 7a-7p or 7p-7a
- PRN (1-2 shifts/week) or FT (36hrs/week). Accepting applications for all shifts/hours.

Qualifications:
Two years of experience as a LPN Licensed Practical Nursepreferred Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Higher education preferred. Certification in Practical Nursing or equivalent as per statelaw. Licensed to practice in the State of practice. Behavioral health experience preferred.
