Reporting to the nursing supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in patient assessment, IV insertion, and catheterization to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your premium experience in critical care and familiarity with EHR systems like Epic will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding. Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and document patient progress. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety. Educate patients and families on health management and care procedures. Uphold basic life support protocols and respond to emergencies as needed. Qualifications Valid LPN or RN license Proficiency in patient care and assessment Experience with catheterization and IV insertion Knowledge of EHR systems, including Epic and Cerner Basic life support certification Familiarity with tube feeding and airway management Experience in critical care or long-term care settings is a plus Understanding of physiology and health coaching techniques
