The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a primary care office. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in patient assessment, treatment planning, and the execution of care plans while ensuring compliance with medical protocols and standards. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients. Provide support in acute pain management and ventilate patients as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within Level II Trauma Centers to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Deliver compassionate care to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Requirements Valid LPN license in the state of practice. Experience in primary care/internal medicine setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical records management and electronic health record systems, particularly Athenahealth.
