LPN/Licensed Practical Nurse
POSITION SUMMARY
A LPN/Licensed Practical Nurse is one of the main support providers to our residents. The position aids residents in the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care Program(s) through assessments and care planning, medication and treatment management, implementation, and evaluation of resident plans of care, documentation of nursing services and enabling residents to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity. The position will enhance the lives of older adults by assisting them with patience and a friendly smile all while embracing teamwork and collaboration among all staff.
Essential Duties:
Patient care: Provide basic care and comfort, such as helping with bathing, dressing, and changing bandages
Monitoring:
Take vital signs, such as blood pressure and body temperature, and monitor patients’ health Administering medication: Give medications and injections as prescribed by a physician
Recording:
Document patient care and maintain health records
Reporting:
Report patients’ status and concerns to other medical professionals
Educating:
Provide education to patients and their families
Assisting:
