LPN/RN Staff Nurse Lovin’ Arms PPEC Greenacres, FL 33463 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and seniors. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in supporting the health and well-being of patients by performing essential nursing duties under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Duties Conduct patient assessments to monitor health status and identify any changes in condition. Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene. Support health coaching initiatives by educating patients and families about health management and wellness strategies. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Document patient information accurately in medical records, including ICD-9 coding when necessary. Assist in emergency medicine situations by providing immediate care as needed. Participate in diagnostic evaluations to assist in determining appropriate treatment plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Proven experience in toddler care, senior care, and infant care is highly desirable. Familiarity with emergency medicine practices is a plus. Experience administering injections and performing diagnostic evaluations is essential. Strong ability to conduct patient assessments effectively. Previous experience working in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is beneficial but not mandatory.
