Seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to joinour community. An LPN uses their clinical expertise to ensure allresidents receive high quality, efficient care. LPNs in ourcommunity are sensitive, respectful, and are passionate abouthelping those in need. What You’ll Do Provide Care Helping residents with personal hygiene, including bathing,grooming, and dressing Supporting residents with medication; taking medication,opening containers, opening prepackaged medication, readingmedication labels for residents, observing residents takingmedication, checking the self-administered dosage against the labelof the container, and reassuring residents they have obtained andare taking the dosage as prescribed. Repositioning residents in bed and escorting them around thecommunity Toileting, incontinent care Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate and pulseCommunicate Observe and report on residents’ health, escalating anyproblems efficiently and effectively Detail daily reports to Nurse, or designated charge person, atend of shift Provide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort forresidents and their loved ones Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to asupervisor What You’ll Bring Experience & Education High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years’ experience in a hospital or clinicalsetting Associates degree or higher, focused on advancement intomedical services, or similar, preferred CPR/First Aid Certification desired (unless required by theState) Valid, unrestricted LPN certification or State/Local equivalentrequired Engagement Working experience alone, on a team, and on projects start tofinish Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills Dedication to the medical field, especially towards workingwith the residents We Got You We see and support the whole you.
