Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 10 am to 8 pm Come join our team!! The nurse is responsible for providing quality care and meeting resident needs while following state guidelines and regulations. The nurses are also responsible for providing oversight during their shift to the Care Associates or other direct care associates as directed by the Executive Director or Wellness Director.

Position Overview:

You will be responsible for the high level of care our residents are accustomed to, including making frequent rounds, ensuring continuity of care, documenting all pertinent care information, and observing our residents’ overall condition and behavior Participate with members of the interdisciplinary team to review, plan, coordinate and evaluate resident’s care Document the resident condition and nursing needs accurately and in a timely manner Reports pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents in a timely manner Execute treatments as necessary and document reactions to medications and treatments Generate, prepare, administrate and chart medications Initiate physician orders, verify all orders received are transcribed accurately in electronic records and treatment plan, administer medications and provide treatments according to orders Facilitate communication with families regarding change in medications and/or changes in the resident Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings

Skills/Requirements:

Current license as an LPN in the state being employed. 1 or more years’ experience as an LPN in an Assisted Living or Memory Care community is preferred, but not mandatory. Leadership and Supervisory skills. Must be familiar with drug actions and interactions. Must possess accurate and comprehensive assessment skills. Patience and courtesy in dealing with residents and families. Desire to work with seniors to maintain the optimum level of function directly through the supervision of Care Associates and other members of the Resident services team. Effective decision making and communication skills. Ability to assist with transfer of residents regardless of body weight without endangering the resident, self, or associate. Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively and professionally with residents, families, guests and other associates in
