Working under the supervision of a physician, nurse practitioner, or registered nurse to provide clinical support, patient education, and administrative assistance. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals.

Full-time Clinical Duties:
Conduct initial patient assessments, including vital signs, weight, BMI calculations, and health history reviews. Assist in developing and implementing weight loss plans under the supervision of medical professionals. Administer prescribed medications, including weight loss injections. Monitor patients for any side effects or adverse reactions to weight loss treatments. Provide patient education on nutrition, exercise, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence. Conduct follow-up visits to track progress and adjust care plans as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the electronic health system.
Patient Support & Education:
Offer motivation and encouragement to patients throughout their weight loss journey. Educate patients on meal planning, portion control, and behavioral changes. Provide guidance on exercise routines and safe weight loss practices. Address patient concerns and escalate medical issues to the supervising provider.
Administrative Duties:
Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic workflow. Ensure compliance with clinic policies, medical regulations, and HIPAA guidelines. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and order as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Active and unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice. Previous experience in weight management, wellness, primary care, or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong communication and patient education skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
Work Environment & Schedule:
Clinic setting with standard weekday hours. Extended hours may be added at a later date. Combination of standing, sitting, and occasional lifting of equipment or supplies.
