RN/LPN Athens Post Acute 545 West Euclid Avenue, DeLand, FL 32720 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
LPN / RN
to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments. The LPN will work closely with registered nurses and physicians to ensure the best possible patient outcomes, utilizing their knowledge of anatomy and physiology to deliver effective care. Duties Administer medications and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers. Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist in the assessment of patients’ health status, including vital signs and physical examinations. Provide direct patient care in various departments such as Medical-Surgical, ER, PICU, and Level I Trauma Center. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and medication administration. Monitor patients’ progress and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Experience Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in areas such as inpatient care, SNF Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential. Experience administering injections and performing basic nursing procedures is required. Familiarity with medical-surgical nursing practices is a plus. Candidates must possess a valid LPN license and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
