The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including outpatient facilities, acute care, and hospice care. The LPN will work closely with registered nurses and physicians to ensure the best patient outcomes while adhering to established protocols and standards. Duties Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Perform venipuncture for blood draws and other necessary procedures. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner. Assist with critical care procedures, including airway management and dialysis when necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document all nursing interventions accurately in compliance with ICD-9 coding standards. Requirements Valid LPN license in the state of practice. Experience in outpatient settings preferred; critical care experience is a plus. Proficiency in performing dermal fillers is desirable but not mandatory. Strong skills in venipuncture and basic nursing procedures. Knowledge of acute care practices and hospice care principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
