The Nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our young patients. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patient, including physical examinations and health histories. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and diagnoses. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and care plans. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for children with developmental disabilities or complex medical needs. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development and training related to pediatric nursing practices. Requirements Current LPN/RN license in the state of practice. Experience working with pediatric patients is Required and a must have. Knowledge of physiology and medical imaging techniques relevant to pediatric care. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and the ability to perform basic lab tests as needed. Experience in toddler care and understanding of developmental milestones. Trach/Gtube feeds experience a must have. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while demonstrating strong communication skills. Commitment to providing compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of children.
