Menasha, WIWhat You Will DoAssist with the examination and treatment of patients under the supervision of a physician.
Assist with treatments ordered by a physician, under supervision.
Perform select clinical duties.
Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients’ charts.
Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
Perform basic clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
Manage supplies by ordering and stocking, and help maintain a clean environment.
What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification /
Registration:
BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant job experience.
Professional licensure/certification may substitute for education/experience.
Additional PreferencesMedical Assistant:
Assist with treatments, perform clinical duties, and clerical tasks as described above.
Licensed Practical Nurse:
Assess patients, administer medications, perform lab tests, and educate patients about their care.
Licensure/Certification:
BLS credential from AHA, obtained within 1 month of hire.
Practical/Vocational Nurse license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant experience.
Licenses can substitute for education.
Work Experience:
Medical assistant experience preferred.
