License Practical Nurse will provide direct care (including IV Therapy & Phlebotomy) to patients within the guidelines of the Licensed Practical Nurse Act under general supervision of a NP, PA or MD. The LPN will assist other members of PPUC to deliver the highest quality healthcare to all patients. LPN demonstrates professional responsibilities and is responsible for own practice. The LPN is responsible to keep all certifications current at all times.
Requirements:
State of Louisiana license as a License Practical Nurse. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. IV certifications. Willing to attend continuing medical education courses at the request of the employer. Knowledge of OSHA requirements.. Effective interpersonal and communications skills. 1 year work experience is preferred.
