Job Responsibilities:
Provides skilled nursing care to patients as directed by the registered nurse and provider’s plan of care in accordance with hospital policy. Promotes and maintains patient health through teaching and appropriate rehabilitative measures under the guidance of the registered nurse Documents progress notes for one to onegroup sessions in accordance with policies and procedures Advises Director of Nursing/Administrator of any risk management activities in order to reduce or eliminate patient/staff/visitor injuries, illnesses, death, and/or financial loss.
Skills Needed:
Organizes and prioritizes work while being cost-effective and conserving resources Should be able to work with multi-disciplinary team Able to tolerate high stress and high volume of work Organized and self-disciplined Thorough documentation Utilizes listening skills that indicate understanding and promotes accurate interpretation of other’s concerns, motivations, and feelings Works toward resolution of interpersonal conflicts as they arise Education/Experience/License required: License Practical Nurse.
