LPN II (Float/Relief nurse) 2.4 2.4 out of 5 stars 1640 Breazeale Springs Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457 LPN II (Float/Relief nurse) This nurse will have the rewarding responsibility of serving providers with patient care duties and the DON by assuring compliance and an adequate nursing staff to complete all daily and routine duties. Must be flexible and able to fill in (float where needed) to assist providers in Natchitoches, Leesville, and occasionally in Tallulah when necessary. Must be flexible and willing to travel; however, hours are regularly weekdays and day shifts. Company vehicle, and travel reimbursement are included. Wherever assigned, the LPN II has a higher level of responsibilities to DON and OMC medical care compliance. Assist DON to assure all patient calls answered, QC logs done, staffing is adequate according to budgeted plans. must help DON assure nursing compliance with daily and periodic nursing duties as well as with patient care documentation as required in the clinical inbox of the medical records software (Athena). Duties include but are not limited to, following clinical practice guidelines, assisting providers with scheduled and walk-in visits, perform intake and vitals, review of systems, medication reconciliation, refills, referrals, prior authorizations, quality controls, supply inventory, vaccine management, etc. Weekday schedule, paid holidays plus additional benefits if fulltime.
