The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of nursing practices. As LPN ADON, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with medical standards. You will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals in various settings, including acute care and assisted living facilities. Responsibilities Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans accordingly. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians while monitoring patients for side effects and reactions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance on best practices in patient care. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in the nursing field to provide the best care possible. Skills Strong leadership abilities to manage nursing staff effectively. Proficient in medical terminology and nursing administration practices. Experience in supervising teams within a healthcare setting. Knowledge of acute care procedures and protocols. Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Familiarity with Medicare regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
