Responds appropriately to incoming office calls relating to the clinical needs of our organization Works with additional office staff in providing clear communication and documentation of EMR and other office protocol Process timely authorization of services for patient billing Follows the plan of care in providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes. Provides clear communication and accurate and timely documentation of EMR consistent with the plan of care. Assesses and provides patient and family/caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis and plan of care. Participates in coordination of home health services, appropriately reporting the identified needs for other disciplines to the clinician and/or clinical supervisor. Requirements Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program. Has three years nursing experience Community/home health or medical/surgical experience is preferred Must be proficient in typing and good at spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication Must be able to listen to complex Medical information and summarize in a clear, complete and concise fashion Must be possess excellent organizational skills Must be proficient in medical diagnosis coding
