Practical Nurse 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 301 Walnut Street, Amite, LA 70422 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting registered nurses and physicians, and ensuring a safe and effective environment for patients. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Duties Conduct patient assessments to gather health information and monitor vital signs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Perform physical examinations and document findings accurately. Assist in medical imaging procedures as required. Provide health coaching to patients, educating them on managing their conditions. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Support urgent care needs by responding promptly to patient inquiries and concerns. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards. Participate in critical care situations when necessary, demonstrating quick decision-making skills. Qualifications Unrestricted Louisiana LPN license Strong knowledge of medical nursing practices. Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology.
