MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
This nursing position provides direct nursing care to clients receiving treatment for mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or medical illness, and is responsible for performing individualized direct client care. This position performs standard nursing services, which may include the following: administering prescribed medications, performing injections, maintaining documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), administering screenings, tests, and other required labs, conducting assessments and screens for new clients, participating as an active member of an inter-disciplinary Treatment Team, etc.
Position-Specific Details:
We are seeking applicants for either an LPN-1, LPN-2, or
LPN-3 WAE
(PRN Nurse) positions across some of our outpatient behavioral health facilities, which may include clinics in the following locations:
Mandeville (may also assist in Slidell as needed)
Hammond (may also assist in Denham Springs as needed)
Bogalusa

This posting is for multiple vacancies at each level and will be filled as Part-Time PRN positions ONLY (WAE positions) at the appropriate level based on the applicant’s experience. This is not a career progression posting. Movement to higher levels is subject to experience requirements and agency discretion. Part-time Classified WAE appointments shall not exceed 1245 hours in a 12-month period. Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant’s level of experience.
