POSITION SUMMARY
The primary purpose of your job is toassess resident’s needs, develop an individualized care plan,administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care and supervisenursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursingcare. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal,state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that governour community, and as may be required by the Director of NursingServices or designee to ensure that the highest degree of qualitycare is maintained at all times. Follows all health, sanitary andinfection control policies and maintains established standards ofpractice set forth by the community’s administration and NursingPolicies and Procedures.
Education & Qualifications:
- Must possessa current, unencumbered license to practice as a LPN within thestate in which you work.
- Must possess a current CPRcertification.
- Must be able to communicate in English and havethe ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Mustpossess and demonstrate the ability to carry out both verbal andwritten directions.
- Must possess and demonstrate goodinterpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to workwith supervisors, co-workers and community staff in the performanceof duties.
- Ability to observe proper safety and sanitarytechniques.
- Ability to work hours as scheduled based on therequirements of the position/assignment.
- Must not pose a directthreat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
- Previous experience in long-term care preferred, butnot required.
