Per diem hours to include bot week days and weekends from 3:00pm-11:00pm and 11:00pm-7:00am. We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Per Diems to join our team at Cutchins Programs for Children and Families. In this role, you will provide essential nursing care to children and families, ensuring their health and well-being while promoting a nurturing environment. Your contributions will be vital in helping us achieve our mission of fostering relationships and resilience. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to children in a inpatient behavioral health program Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor patient health status and report any changes to the medical team. Support families in understanding health-related issues and treatment plans. Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for each child. Requirements Valid LPN license in the state of practice. Experience in behavioral health nursing for children. Strong patient care skills with a focus on compassion and empathy. Basic life support certification required; additional certifications are a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children and families.
