Responsibilities:

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LicensedPractical Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care whileachieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/familysatisfaction.

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observecondition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursingassessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performstreatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patientcare provided by unlicensed staff.

Qualifications:

• Must be agraduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing orpending licensed practical nurse licensure.
• Must maintain currentBLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or asrequired by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
