Participation in the nursing process by sharing in assessment of patients, planning of patient care, implementing the patient care plan, and evaluating patient care. Accepting doctor’s orders, transcribing doctor’s orders and making rounds with physicians. Ordering medications according to facility procedure, doing narcotic count according to regulation, auditing physician orders and medications as assigned. Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Graduation from an accredited, approved school of nursing. Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Will receive in-service training in special areas.
