Description Family Practice Averill Park is looking for a FullTime LPN to join their team! This is a 40-hour week.
The hours are:
Monday
- Thursday 8:15
- 5:30. Friday 8:15
- 1:15.
This position iseligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus
Responsibilities:
Administer and record vaccines. Document verbalconversations with patients when appropriate. Document informationinto patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
Maintain timely patient flow. Prepare patient for visit asappropriate, based on office/provider requirements. Obtainspecimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed bythe provider. Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider(i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration andimmunizations) Process patient prescriptions. Annual salary range:

Requirements Valid NYSLPN license. Previous LPN experience in a medical practice or priorexperience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech. Strongcomputer skills with experience using EMR. Knowledge of basicnursing principles and protocols. Knowledge of policies andprocedures related to infection control, environmental safety, andpatient confidentiality. Maintain strictest confidentiality anddiscretion. Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records. Skill inappropriate assessment and assistance techniques.
