Job Description:

Soliant Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a student in a Maine school setting . This position requires proficiency in g-tube feedings and seizure management . The nurse will accompany the student throughout the school day to ensure safety, health support, and consistent medical care. Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 medical support for a student with a G-tube and seizure disorder Monitor and manage seizures, respond appropriately per seizure action plan Administer medications and perform G-tube feedings per medical orders Communicate with school staff, healthcare providers, and the student’s family Document care and any medical incidents throughout the school day Ensure student safety during transport (if applicable), classroom time, and activities

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine Experience with G-tube care and seizure management is required Current BLS/CPR certification Pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required Excellent communication and organizational skills

State of Maine School Nurse Requirements:

To work as a school nurse in Maine, the following are required: Active Maine RN License Must obtain School Nurse Certification (Endorsement 524) through the Maine Department of Education (DOE)•This can be obtained after hire if not currently held Fingerprinting and CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) clearance through the Maine DOE Proof of immunizations and/or medical clearance as required by the school district Soliant can help guide qualified candidates through the certification process.
