EssentialFunctions:

• Supply and administer medication pursuant to thephysician’s order and record dosage administered in the medicalrecord.
• Conduct an actual sight and count inventory of themedication supply daily.
• Maintain absolute accuracy in the dailyaccounting of medication that is supplied or administered ininventory.
• Collect fees and perform daily cash reconciliation inthe absence of a cashier position.
• Ensure the disposal of medicalwaste through the proper protocol.
• Observe the patient’s demeanorprior to dosing.
• Contact other centers to verify dosages asneeded.
• Administer appropriate lab tests as required, includingpatient vital signs, TB tests when required, and collect data forreview by the Medical Director or RN.
• Schedule and screenpatients to be seen by the Medical Director.
• Assist the MedicalDirector in collecting data for the history and physical asrequired.
• Maintain absolute control, tracking, andconfidentiality of all patient medical paperwork.
• Activelyparticipate in CARF preparation and the state audit process.
• Interface with the public and patients by answering phones,greeting visitors, and monitoring patient activities while oncenter’s premises.

EssentialQualifications:

• Education/Licensure/Certification:

  Active LPNlicense in the state of Missouri or compact license.

• RequiredKnowledge:

  Understanding of opiate addiction, medical terminology,general nursing knowledge, and techniques. Basic mathematicsskills. Must be computer literate and have basic knowledge of allMicrosoft products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Must havebasic typing skills.

Experience Required:

Minimum of 1 year ofdirect patient contact. Prior experience in the clinicalenvironment is helpful.
