Responsibilities :
Infection Control Nurse/IC Nurse is responsible to plan, organize, develop, coordinate, educate and direct infection prevention and control programs in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations Assist with policy and procedures development and implementation while maintaining CDC, OSHA, state, and local regulations concerning infection prevention and control. Act as a primary education consultant to facility staff, residents, and visitors in safe Infection Control/Prevention practices. Maintain a written record of all residents and employees with community-or healthcare associated infections. Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary Provide direct nursing care as necessary. You’ll be great to join our team as our Infection Control Nurse/IC Nurse because … You hold an active and current unencumbered RN/LPN license in the state of MO You are IP/IC Certified You have, two (2) years+ clinical experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related healthcare facility.
