+ Medical and dental benefits + Short- and long-term disability + Life insurance + Paid time off + 401(k) program + Flexible Spending Account (FSA) + Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + Vendor discounts Responsibilities + Provide direct patient care to hospice patients, including appropriate pain/symptom management + Implement nursing practice following a comprehensive assessment and plan of care + Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient services + Assess and provide patient and family/caregiver education + Participate in coordination of hospice services + Provide appropriate pain/symptom management and evaluate patient response to treatments/medications + Participate in professional growth and development opportunities and quality assessment activities + Ensure compliance with all state and federal legal and regulatory requirements + Additional responsibilities as assigned Qualifications + Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program with current licensure to practice in state of operation + Three years nursing experience. Community health/hospice or medical/surgical experience is preferred + Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care + Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence + Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order. + Possess and maintain current CPR certification.
